New Antioch community center to be run by Tennessee Immigrants and Refugee Rights Coalition

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition is opening a new community center in southeast Nashville.

According to the executive director of TIRRC, the nonprofit chose Antioch for the hub and neighborhood meeting space because the area is under-served.

“Of all the neighborhoods in Nashville, Antioch has fewer nonprofits, fewer green spaces and fewer art exhibitions or spaces,” said Lisa Sherman Nikolaus.
