Chloe Khan stunned fans as she celebrated her daughter’s birthday – sharing photos and videos of a lavish party she hosted at her country mansion, and shocking followers as they realised she is now the mother of a teenager.
The 30-year-old former X Factor contestant is proud mum to 13-year-old daughter Destiny – who she works hard to protect from the limelight.
Chloe shares her daughter with former partner Ian Hough – and has frequently refer to her daughter as the most important person in her life.
And Destiny – who Chloe affectionately calls Des – was certainly the centre of attention over the weekend as celebrations were in full swing at the reality star’s huge house and garden.
The party was held outdoors with lavishly decorations set up for an entire day in advance.
A huge wall of flowers and balloons was constructed in the garden as a backdrop for an outdoor dining experience.
The dining table was adorned with more flowers, champagne flutes, boxes of popcorn, and blue-napkins – while cushions were used for seating at the floor-level dining table.
More constructions in Chloe’s sprawling garden included tents filled with luxury seating, and an inflated dance-room complete with light-up decorations.
While a giant screen and huge beanbags filled another section of the garden ready for a screening of a movie later in the evening.
A belly dancer was hired as entertainment for the teenager’s birthday celebrations – with Chloe revealing the dancer was also giving lessons to the guests.
Daring dance moves saw one belly dancer balancing a sword on her head, while the audience looked captivated by her moves in footage Chloe shared via Instagram Stories.
Sharing a string of photos on her Instagram feed, Chloe commented that the party was “the most perfect day”.
Chloe has previously expressed her love for her daughter – as well as explaining she wishes to keep her safe from the online world.
The protective mother wrote online in the past: “I am so proud of you baby.
“I try not to post photos of you online for everyone to see, but it is hard because all your pictures are so beautiful.”
She also said in a past social media tour of her home: “My little girl Destiny is my absolute life.
“She’s beautiful, she’s intelligent, she’s amazing and she knows how loved she is from me and all my side of the family. I’m just going to leave it there because I don’t want to go into it too much, it’s an emotional issue for me.”
And Chloe says she extends her protection to her family – who she also ensures are not exposed on her social media posts.
Closer quotes her saying: “My family don’t want to be on social media. They’re very private people.
“You’ll never see my mum, my child and if I do decide to post a photograph, their faces will either be hidden or censored.”
