A day after it was confirmed Jesy Nelson would be stepping back from Little Mix due to a “private medical reason” – sparking concern from worried fans – her boyfriend Sean Sagar returned to Instagram.

However, the Our Girl actor, 30, didn’t make any reference to Jesy and instead shared a clip of Netflix’s new film, The Princess Switch 2, starring his brother, Nick.

It led to fans speculating about their relationship, with one posting online, “They’ve probably split up by now”.

He last posted a picture on 5 October of Jesy perched on his knee as he gave her a kiss on the cheek, writing, “The reason for my happiness.”

The pair grew close during the first lockdown after Jesy, 29, split from Love Island star Chris Hughes following a 14-month relationship.
