Following on from the multiple culture calendar rescheduling due to Covid-19, this year’s awards season is set to culminate with the 2021 Oscars ceremony this weekend.
The ceremony for the 93rd Academy Awards will take place on April 25 in the US, airing live on ABC at 8pm and midnight on April 26 UK time.
The biggest night in film is a marked delay in 2021, from its usual date in February due to postponements while organisers considered the best way to move forward in line with social distancing restrictions.
How to watch the Oscars in the UK
You can watch the ceremony via Sky Cinema, who are set to air the event in full on its sub-channel Sky Cinema Oscars, followed by a highlights reel on Sky One.
The Sky coverage will also be streamed online through NOW. For existing Sky TV customers you can sign up to Sky Cinema for £11 a month, or pay £11.99 a month for NOW’s Sky Cinema Pass.

Despite this front row seat to the ceremony itself, with so many cinemas across the country still closed, it’s likely you haven’t managed to see some of the buzz worthy flicks nominated for an Academy Award this year.
