Mr. Paul E. Dunham, 69, of Broadalbin, New York, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at the Albany Medical Center Hospital with his family at his side.
He was born in Gloversville, New York, on October 22, 1951, to Leo and Madeleine Dunham. He was educated in Gloversville schools.
Paul worked for the New York State Canal Corporation for many years until his much deserved retirement in 2010.
Paul’s passion was hunting and fishing and when he could no longer do that, he enjoyed talking about them over a few or more Busch lights. He may have complained about people, but never about animals – he loved deer and birds in the yard and especially tending to his flocks of chickens whose antics made him laugh, and, he always had a new daily chicken story to share. Paul had a rough exterior but a true loyal heart and he will be missed.
Paul leaves behind his cherished family: his wife, Maureen Dunham; son, Paul Dunham; daughter, Tina Orr; stepson, Tim Healey and family; stepdaughter, Renee Sipf and children; grandchildren, Chris Orr, Amber Orr, Lila Dunham; great-grandson, Ryland Muzzi; sister, Jean Griffin (Herb).
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2021, at the Jendrzejczak Funeral Home, 200 Church Street, Amsterdam, New York. In lieu of flowers, Paul requested that you raise a glass, share a memory and remember him the way he was.
