She decked her tree out in a rainbow of colours, starting from red and ending with yellow, which she picked up for a few quid. 

Her proud mum shared a snap of her tree to Facebook group Kmart Hacks and Decor, saying: “My daughter’s beautiful flower Christmas tree. 

“Fake flowers from Kmart and $2 shop.”

The simple yet effective design has gone down a storm online, with the unusual tree racking up more than 6,000 likes.

People reckon the spruce was the prettiest tree they’d seen, with one fan raving: “That is really lovely.”
