A PEDO who abused his 10-year-old stepdaughter “rewarded” her with McDonald’s and said he wanted to make her his wife.
Roger Vye, 55, said he wanted to take Jasmine to Turkey to marry her and that he wanted to be with her – not her mum.

The sicko destroyed her childhood but now Jasmine has finally got justice after he admitted numerous child sexual offences against her and was jailed for 16 years.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online Jasmine, now 22, from Kent said: “Vye tried to treat me like his wife and robbed me of my childhood.
“I’m glad he’s now behind bars, he doesn’t deserve his freedom, as far as I’m concerned he can rot in hell.”
Vye wasn’t her real dad but Jasmine says as a child that’s how she saw him.

‘ROT IN HELL’
She added: “He was eight years older than my mum and I was four when they got together. I couldn’t remember a time before he was in our lives and I regarded his as a father figure.
“I’d look up to him with big trusting eyes as he’d take me to school, cook dinners, and do everything else a parent would.”
When Jasmine was 10, he took her to the fun fair in their local town, and kissed her in a mirror maze.
She added: “As I reached the bottom his hands suddenly grabbed my small body and before I knew it his tongue was moving around inside my mouth.
“Flinching in shock I pushed him away while speaking softly he told me, ‘I’m sorry you don’t feel that way. But I find you more attractive than your mother.’
“Dumbstruck, my head spun in confusion. As we moved on to the next ride inside I was screaming, I couldn’t believe what had just happened.”
I’m sorry you don’t feel that way. But I find you more attractive than your mother.”
Roger Vye
But as they returned to the car Roger started again.
She said: “He told me that he was so attracted to me and that one day he was going to make me his wife.
“Swallowing hard I looked away. I couldn’t understand why he was telling me this, I was only 10.”
With no idea how to handle it Jasmine tried to erase it. But over the coming weeks Vye’s abuse escalated, in the car, other times the living room.
He’d touch her inappropriately, sometimes penetrating her with his fingers.
Jasmine recalled: “I didn’t like it and it hurt but Roger was clever and made me feel I was special by treating me to new phones and sweets.
MCDONALD’S TREAT
“We’d leave to drive to school early and he’d park in hidden country roads where he’d touch me and make me watch him touch himself. In return I’d get a McDonald’s breakfast.”
She added: “He’d tell me that he wanted me not my mum. As time passed he also told me that he was planning on taking me to Turkey and marrying me.”
One evening after Jasmine had just started secondary school Vye said he had a long distance delivery job and he told her mum that he’d take Jasmine with him.
Jasmine said: “He was grinning and holding a packet in his hand. He said, ‘this will make you a woman,’ explaining what the condoms were for.

“Fear rose in my throat as he drove us to a derelict car park. Then reclining my seat, he pulled down my underwear and attempted to rape me.
“Pinned down by his body I lay there, scared stiff. Then a white van came along and scared him.
“He quickly got up, fumbling to do up his flies. Then looking annoyed he drove off.
“He didn’t end up doing the delivery, instead we went home in silence. But that man in the van had saved me from losing my virginity.”
JAILED
Soon after, to Jasmine’s relief Roger and her mum split up – not long after a social worker visited.
Jasmine was eventually interviewed by cops but didn’t give them enough to charge Roger, so he was convicted for indecent images and received a community order.
Afterwards he thought he’d got away with it as he tried to make contact with Jasmine, sending her texts and following her route to school. He’d also send her presents of cash and phones in the post.
She said: “I wanted nothing to do with him and eventually he stopped. Meanwhile I still hadn’t told anyone or spoken to Mum about it.
“But as it dawned on me what he’d done, I started to self-harm and attempted suicide.
“With no self-worth I’d let boys treat me badly and all the time I blamed myself for Roger’s abuse.”
I’m glad he’s now behind bars, he doesn’t deserve his freedom, as far as I’m concerned he can rot in hell.”
Jasmine
But when Jasmine was 18 she got a place at university to study a business degree and she vowed to herself that she wouldn’t be held back by vile Vye any longer.
In her third year she met American boyfriend Craig, 19, over the internet playing Fortnite.
She said: “I felt better for telling him and after eight months of knowing each other he came over to the UK. Finally meeting in the flesh it sealed our relationship.”
He was with Jasmine in Morrison’s cafe last November when a police officer phoned.
Jasmine said: “I asked if it was about Roger Vye and he replied yes. It turned out that Roger had been arrested having arranged online to sexually abuse a young child.
“This time with the support of Craig I felt ready to talk.”
CHARGED
Jasmine gave a video statement and afterwards the police charged Roger with numerous sexual offences against her.
A subsequent search had been conducted and electronic devices containing a large collection of indecent images of children established his long standing interest in the sexual abuse of children. He’d also distributed images.
In January this year Vye pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by penetration, attempted rape, and sexual assault, all relating to a child under 13 – Jasmine.
He also pleaded guilty to arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, and distributing indecent photographs of children.
Jasmine said her relief was overwhelming when the judge at Woolwich Crown Court sentenced him to 16 years, with a further five years on extended licence.
She added: “It felt like a huge weight being lifted from my shoulders and afterwards Craig told me how proud he was of me.
“Having lived half my life with his sick secret I now feel free.
“I’m also pregnant and feel relieved at the thought of being able to raise my son knowing this monster’s behind bars.
“Now I have the chance to start afresh with Craig, my rock, and I’m telling my story so others know it’s OK to speak up. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been.”
