Sylvester Stallone recently listed his enormous $130 million Rocky-themed Los Angeles mansion, selling it in favor of something slightly more modest—a $35.4 million property down in Florida.
Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin plan to sell their custom-built 21,000-square-foot Beverly Hills Park home after over two decades of living there. According to The Dirt, the couple purchased the 3.5-acre property in the late 90s, building an eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom “pan-Mediterranean” mansion to their exact specifications. The home features a huge library with barrel-vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows in the den, and a dining room with walls hand-painted to mimic an old castle. Pictures shoe that Stallone has also decorated the interiors with a “strangely vast trove” of Rocky memorabilia, including a statue of himself with raised gloves that stands guard in front of an arched window.
And the exterior of the property is just as lavish as the interiors with a two-bedroom guest house and an “extensive service wing” surrounded by sweeping views of the canyons and city, as well as a swimming pool and putting course. The exclusive gated community also comes with some very high-profile neighbors, like Denzel Washington, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Eddie Murphy, Rod Stewart, Magic Johnson, and Mark Wahlberg.
It seems that Stallone and Flavin are leaving California behind for Palm Beach as late last year they bought a $35.4 million, 1.5-acre property in the area with 250 feet of private waterfront. The move would make the couple the latest celebrities to migrate South, following in the footsteps of the Kushner brothers, Trumps, Mick Jagger, and Tom Brady before them.
