Yowie founder Shannon Maldonado has been known to make us swoon over pretty much everything she touches. See her lifestyle shop and design studio, her Philadelphia home, and the interior design of Brooklyn-based co-working space Ethel’s Club for reference of said swooning. Her latest collaboration—a 19-piece collection with iconic L.A. retailer Fred Segal—sports groovy graphics, creative ceramics, and a colorful twist.

The collection, which is now available online and in person at the Fred Segal on Sunset Boulevard in L.A., includes one-of-a-kind pieces curated by Maldonado, as well as a few exclusives, including the Mental Massage tee, designed by Alex Madrid. “We worked together this spring on a collaborative tote that was a big hit for us,” Maldonado says. “When designing this tee, we were inspired by the idea of transcendence, self-love, and recovery. We’re all looking for a bit of relief, and while we do not encourage tuning out, we believe taking breaks and moments of restoration are crucial. For the design we referenced ’70s books and visuals around meditation and wanted to create an otherworldly vibe.”

Shoppers can expect to find wavy totes, checkered incense burners, a charming reusable water bottle, and more—perfect for self-care, and all very gift-able if you’re planning ahead.
